Now, I try not to get too political in my blog mostly because I am still working on being more compassionate and less judgmental to people who don’t think like I do. However, with the ever present attack on women’s rights so forward in the news right now, I thought I would make an exception. To me, no matter how you personally feel about sex, contraception, abortion, and so forth, taking away someone’s right to make their own choice is simply wrong. I’m now Bible expert, but I’m pretty sure even God gave human beings free will. But Jesus also said to love and help each other and that doesn’t seem to be in the forefront of the religious politics in America.

Anyway, this amazing Representative from Georgia figured “If women are constantly under pressure to have their private matters controlled by the government, why not invite men to the party?” I say, amen to that! If women can’t be respected enough to decide what is best for them, why should men? I really urge you to watch the video and read the transcript…
